For most of us, Bellingham has become a household name.

It’s the city that flits by as we make our way to the Premium Outlets at Tulalip, one of the last stops to fill up the gas tank before we cross the border back into Vancouver, and home to Bellis Fair Mall, the behemoth shopping centre anchored by major American department stores Macy’s, Kohl’s, Sears and jcpenney. But if that’s all you know about Bellingham, you’re missing out.
