BELLINGHAM MT. BAKER REGION IS PACKED WITH FUN FOR EVERYONE!

Bellingham, WA~ Nestled between the deep Pacific Ocean and the towering Cascade Mountain Range, the Bellingham Mt. Baker region is truly blessed by nature and geography.

Our area offers endless activities to experience such as whale watching, birding, excursions to the San Juan Islands, photo opportunities of snow-capped glaciers, captivating exhibits at renowned museums, wine tasting, and tulip fields. Come explore alpine meadows, old growth forests, waterfront state parks and a wide variety of accommodations and restaurants.

Here is a sampling of 50 things to see and do in Whatcom County:

1) Shop historic Fairhaven District

2) Take a drive through Canada to Point Roberts (remember to bring your identification)

3) Snowboard or ski the halfpipe at Mt. Baker, a mountain that holds the world record for having the most snowfall in a year, as well as the longest ski season!

4) Tour the Mt. Baker Vineyards in Deming or Samson Estates in the North County

5) Take a scenic drive or bike ride on Lummi Island

6) Canoe or sail on Lake Whatcom

7) Glide your kayak through Lake Padden

8) Walk around the Lake Padden Loop Trail

9) Drive breathtaking Chuckanut Drive

10) Pitch a tent or scuba dive at Larrabee State Park
