Cookbook: ‘Sea and Smoke’ a romantic culinary adventure

Then there are the cookbooks that take you on a journey, somewhere far away and different from your own surroundings; somewhere magical, mysterious … even romantic. “Sea and Smoke, Flavors from the Untamed Pacific Northwest” by Blaine Wetzel and Joe Ray (267 pages, Running Press, $40) is just such a cookbook; it is filled with breathtaking photographs of a tiny, remote island in the Pacific Northwest just off Washington state.
