Loonie’s dive driving down cross-border shopping traffic and has Washington State businesses getting creative

Cheap gasoline and cheese aren’t cutting it. Fewer British Columbians are heading south to spend their loonies while they hover around 73 cents US, so businesses in Washington — where Canadians spent an estimated $871 million in 2014 — are getting creative about luring them across the border.
