Western Washington University Viking Night Set for Sept 13 in Carver Gym

The Western Washington University Department of Athletics has announced that the 30^th Annual KeyBank Viking Night Dinner & Auction will be held on Friday, September 13, 2019 inside Carver Gymnasium on the WWU campus in Bellingham, WA.

The annual fundraiser helps raise money to support the nearly 300 student-athletes that compete for WWU's 15 intercollegiate programs in both their academic and athletic pursuits of excellence.

Viking Night is recognized as one of the premier social events in Whatcom County with a huge gathering of Western boosters attending each year. The 30^th edition of the fundraiser features the theme of celebrating Viking Greats and will begin with a silent auction and cocktail hour from 5:30-7 pm, followed by a dinner and live auction from 7-9 pm.

Five programs won GNAC titles to lead the conference, including a perfect 20-0 season by the volleyball team, the regular-season title by women’s soccer, the ninth title in program history by men’s golf and an sweep of the indoor and outdoor track & field titles.
