Volunteer Work Party-Fairhaven Park

Join us in Fairhaven Park, as we continue to improve the places where we recreate through the evolution of our Native Plant Restoration Area. In continuation of our stewardship efforts of Fairhaven Park we strive to meet members of our community through these volunteer work parties. Some of our goals for this volunteer event; will be to remove post & fencing, giving wildlife access to freely roam, compost previously removed holly & ivy, and continue to eradicate invasive blackberry plants. There will be both low & high intensive opportunities for people with different comfort levels.

Afterward, we’ll convene at Stones Throw Brewery to wind up the afternoon and celebrate our accomplishments!

There will be two sessions of this Volunteer Work Party, from 10:00 a.m. - Noon & then from 2:00 p.m.- 4:00 p.m. This gives people the opportunity to join either one, or both! We as an organization are adhering to the latest scientific data and safety measures regarding Covid-19.
