The 2nd annual Whatcom County “Out of the Darkness Walk”, hosted by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and the Lions Clubs of Whatcom County. The 1 mile “Walk” supports the AFSP’s education and support programs and its bold goal to reduce the annual U.S. rate of suicide 20% by the year 2025.
Various community resource partners will be on hand at the opening ceremonies for the event scheduled for 10 a.m. at the VFW with day-of registration beginning at 9 a.m.
