Downtown Sounds

Downtown Sounds draws bands from across the country and folks from Whatcom County and beyond to share in their love of music. After 17 years of this beloved, award-winning, urban music festival, it is firmly cemented as Downtown Bellingham's hottest summer attraction. At the corner of Bay, Prospect, and Holly Streets, join the Downtown Bellingham Partnership and premier sponsor WECU for live music, beer gardens, family-friendly programming, and more.

Every Wednesday 5:30 p.m. - 9 p.m. starting July 6 through August 3rd. Free for general entry and VIP options available for INSIDER cardholder.

Downtown Sounds opens at 5:30 p.m. each evening and welcomes attendees with a variety of food vendors and tasty beverages in the 21+ beer/wine/cider garden. Look for the WECU Game Zone located next to the stage that features a giant jenga, corn hole, and more. Additional activities include the popular photo booth, glitter tattoos, face painting, and street chalk.
