The Blue Room Presents | Ugly Side Up, The Kings

Ugly Side Up Based in Los Angeles, Ugly Side Up consists of Dominykas Bytautas on guitar and lead vocals who started the band in his bedroom. He records music that is a blend of punk, surf, and alternative with lyrics about life, all it's glory and lack thereof. He released the EP Fool in 2021 & will release the band's next full length album in 2022.

The Kings Established in 2003, The Seattle-based Kings emerged from the underground with hard-hitting force, blending traditional brass ska with raw punk, soul & rock 'n roll. Our founding members are Seattle natives brought together by sharing a long history with the PNW punk/rock scene. People claim they sound similar to Chicago mixed with Rancid.

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
