Free outdoor concerts featuring bluegrass, folk and more will be presented with a backdrop of Mt. Baker at sunset during the eight-week Farm Tunes series this summer at Whatcom County’s Bellewood Farms & Distillery for family friendly outdoor concerts from 6-9 p.m. Food and beverages are available from its Ten Mile Cafe. Free samples of farm-made spirits are served in the distillery’s tasting room.
Fridays feature artists from throughout the Pacific Northwest. Farm Tunes begins July 22 with Mark Wagner and the series concludes Sept. 9 with Virginia Rail.
“Adults can relax beneath the summer sky with a burger and a beverage while children accompany them or play in the nearby tire garden,” said Eric Abel, president of Bellewood Farms. “Farm Tunes enables us to support regional musicians who rarely could perform in front of live audiences the last two years due to COVID-19.”
