Fill Your Pantry Event at Bellingham Farmers Market

August is the perfect time to stock up on produce at its peak! Buying larger quantities when there is an abundance is crucial to helping our farmers. Turn green beans into Dilly Beans! Turn strawberries into freezer jam! We will be sharing simple ways to preserve and store the summer's bounty. Other local food organizations will be present for this special food event, such as Sustainable Connections, WSU SNAP ed, and Growing Veterans. SNAP EBT, SNAP Market Match, WIC and Senior FMNP vouchers gladly accepted. Join us, in turning food into fun!

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
