Knot Tying Clinic Day 2

This 2 hour Knot Tying Clinic Day 2 will be a progression on Day 1, or for already experienced knot tyers! We’ll work as a group and follow along step by step to expand on the knots we learned in Day 1, as well several new knots and applications.

We’ll finish the class with training in storing and coiling rope for your pack or later use. This clinic welcomes backpackers, gardeners, hikers, survival enthusiasts, and any others who want to practice and learn!

This session is led by survival instructor and guide Ryan Johnson of Firecraft Northwest. If the lot is full, please find additional parking next door at Fairhaven Park.

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
