Stones Throw Brewery Fresh Hop Block Party

Shut down the street and drink a beer with your neighbor, the Stones Throw Fresh Hop Block Party is coming up! All ages are invited down to the brewery for the free live music on Saturday, Sept. 24th, as we release our annual Fresh Hop Ale and fundraise for The Chuckanut Center!

Block Parties have become a staple for the Stones Throw community, and everyone is invited to join as The Legendary Chucklenuts headlines the evening, taking the stage at 5 p.m. and playing until the night ends at 8 p.m. Stones Throw regulars High Mountain string Band will kick off the music earlier in the day, starting at 1 p.m.

The family-friendly afternoon will open at noon, with a portion of proceeds from the entire day being donated to The Chuckanut Center, a local Fairhaven nonprofit garden and community space offering cooking, homesteading, and gardening skills to Bellingham. Back East BBQ, Sage Against the Machine, and Street Dogz will be serving food all day at the Block Party.

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
