Out of the Darkness Walk to Fight Suicide

American Foundation for Suicide Prevention along with Whatcom County Lions Clubs invite you to join them at the 3rd Annual “Out of the Darkness Walk to Fight Suicide” in support of Suicide Prevention Awareness Month. Registration & Behavioral Health Fair begins at 9am. The “Walk” follows at 10:30am. 

In attendance at the Behavioral Health Fair will be resources from across Whatcom County including PeaceHealth, the Bellingham Vet Center, The Lummi AWARE Project, Mad Hope, NW Youth Services, Compass Health, Animals as Natural Therapy & Volunteers of America. 

Want to help but can’t make the walk? You can donate to AFSP Whatcom County @ www.afsp.org/washington. Click on the “Whatcom County Walk”. There you will find a “Donate” button with easy instructions. The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) uses walk donations to fund research, create education programs, advocate for public policy and support survivors. Be sure to bring a friend and share this event with others !!
