BMC “Night Beat in the afternoon” presents cellist Elinor Frey Internationally acclaimed, Seattle-born cellist Elinor Frey will perform La Voce del Violoncello, her personal journey through early cello works from Northern Italy. Baroque era, Italian cellist-composers contributed some of the most original and celebrated Baroque works for the instrument.
Ms. Frey is a leading Canadian-American cellist, gambist, and researcher. She performs throughout the Americas and Europe in recital and with numerous chamber ensembles and orchestras. Her performance is on Sunday, October 16, 3pm at the Squalicum Boathouse. Students are free, a suggested $20 donation for others.
