Kayak The Cove Tour

Join Us for a Guided Kayaking Adventure at Wildcat Cove in Larrabee State Park! Get an excellent introduction to sea kayaking in the San Juans only 20 minutes away from Bellingham, WA.

Includes “hands-on” instruction to acquaint new paddlers with safety procedures and equipment. Our three-hour day has 2-3 hours of on-the-water paddling and exploration. If time allows, we stretch our legs on a Nature Conservancy protected island in the bay or a beautiful beach along the way, paddle the cove and explore the intricate geology and wildlife. This is one of our favorite tours to Wildcat Cove that’s good for the whole family!

Starts: May 19, 2023

Occurs: Every week on Monday Thursday, Saturday, until September 14, 2023
Time: 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
