Good Neighbor Night @ Stones Throw Brewery with Common Threads Farm!

Join us in the taproom September 25th where 10% of our sales between 5-9pm go to Common Threads Farm, a local non profit!

"Common Threads is a Bellingham, WA based non-profit that promotes a seed-to-table approach to gardening, nutrition and environmental stewardship. Our mission is to connect kids to healthy food in the garden, in the kitchen, and at the table. We want kids to grow up making food choices that are good for their bodies, their communities, and the environment. Common Threads runs cooking and gardening classes at schools across Whatcom County, bringing food education directly to kids. We also run cooking and gardening camps and clubs after school and during school breaks. Most recently, Common Threads launched a Food Truck, nicknamed 'Basil', to deliver free, nourishing meals to kids during school breaks, at times and places where food may not be easily accessible!"

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
