Climate Action Week

Bellingham’s fifth annual Climate Action Week is happening Friday, September 22nd through Saturday, September 30th! 

Throughout the week, you can check out a variety of events hosted by our community, including: 

- Guided tours of forests, streams, tide pools, and climate projects 

- Volunteer events to restore forests 

- E-bike demos 

- Film showings about cycling and protecting the Salish Sea 

- “Transit for the Trees”, ride the bus to plant trees 

– Storytelling improv performance 

- Presentations about green buildings, solar panels, orcas, salmon, and wildfire preparedness 

- Recycled art supply sale 

End the week with live entertainment and activities for all ages at a celebratory closing event at the downtown waterfront and Kulshan Trackside on Saturday, September 30. For a full list of events, visit cob.org/climateactionweek.
