The Snow Queen

Bellingham Arts Academy for Youth presents The Snow Queen! Jump into this playful remix of the fairy tale. Featuring a dash of Hans Christian Anderson, a sprinkling of Fairy Tale Theatre (on Showtime in the 80’s), and original music by the amazing Steve Barnes, a former Musical Director at BAAY.

Get ready for talking reindeer, flying sleighs, goblins in space, and the Northern Lights!

BAAY will hold four weekends featuring four different casts of their junior production, which features students ages 9-12. You don’t want to miss out on all the festive fun!

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
