Spirits at SPARK: A Historical Seance Experience

Join us, if you dare, for a Historical Séance Experience presented by the Good Time Girls on Halloween Night! We’ll attempt the feats of illusion popular at the time, call upon famous spiritualists and skeptics alike and take a historical peak behind the crystal ball to uncover the secrets of the past and the science of speaking with the beyond.

Before the Séance begins, journey through the museum with a host of haunting experiences, and magical mysteries awaiting around every corner. We’ll be featuring Close Up Magic by John Walton in the Museum galleries, a complimentary snack bar and specialty cocktails, beer, and wine for sale sponsored by Gruff Brewing and Chuckanut Bay Distillery!

All ticket sales, drink sales, and donations will go to support SPARK Museum and Wonderlab! There will also be a prize for best costume so come dressed to impress!

*** Please note, this event includes a vaudeville style performance of a Séance, and no actual attempts to contact the dead will be made. This event is 21+ only and meant for entertainment and education.

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
