The road to Artist Point (the final section of SR 542) and Highway 20 (starting at Ross Dam Trailhead) are both closed for the season.

Meloy Gallery Presents ‘The Chronology from Abstract to Realism: The Joe Reno Collection’

At Meloy Gallery the Joe Reno Collection features original fine art paintings, prints, and drawings by Seattle life-long artists Joe and his close friends Elizabeth Aurich, legendary Jay Steensma, and international artist Patrick Burke.

Meet Joe on the afternoon (around 2 p.m.) of Friday January 3 at the opening reception. Read the review in the current issue of the Art Access Magazine available at galleries around our region. Meloy Gallery is the only venue that offers Joe Reno’s newest created originals. Artist Richard Longstreet will be in attendance. He has 13 matted abstracts and is next month’s featured artist.

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
