The road to Artist Point (the final section of SR 542) and Highway 20 (starting at Ross Dam Trailhead) are both closed for the season.

Paint the Season's Renewal: Spring Equinox Intuitive Art Experience

Welcome to a magical gathering celebrating the Spring Equinox through intuitive art! Join us for a day filled with creativity and renewal as we tap into the energy of the changing season, as we honor the spring equinox - nature's perfect moment of balance and renewal. At the heart of our journey will be the sacred Flower of Life symbol, an ancient geometric pattern that represents the cycle of creation and the interconnected rhythm of nature.

Just as the spring equinox marks the harmonious balance between day and night, the Flower of Life embodies perfect symmetry and the divine proportions found throughout the natural world. In this intimate intuitive painting workshop, you'll break free from traditional artistic constraints while using the Flower of Life as your starting point. This sacred geometry template will guide your exploration of color, pattern, and personal symbolism, allowing your creative expression to bloom organically from this timeless design.

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
