Great Comet, the Americana-tinged indie rock project of songwriter Aaron New, has always been a study in motion, but with the release of the sonically expansive second album, Stranger Land, that motion has found a new direction—a deliberate journey through the spaces between. The album is a powerful document of life on the road, of experiencing lasting love alongside devastating loss, and finding a home in the hushed moments of a world seen through a van window.
