Event Details:

Climate change is a very serious matter and a priority to our City and community, which is apparent through the many educational and inspirational events being hosted by our community during Climate Action Week. We want to end this week with a lighthearted event that provides information about climate action in a different format. Join us for Climate Squares, our virtual, climate-action twist on the game show Hollywood Squares.

Our show is hosted by Mike Mathieu, local writer and host of the “Talking Men” podcast.

This event tests the climate knowledge of nine notable Bellingham locals:
• Dean Fearing, Executive Director, Kulshan Community Land Trust
• Grace Wang, Professor and Department Chair of Environmental Studies at WWU
• Imran Sheikh, Assistant Professor in Environmental Sciences at WWU
• Kevin Coleman, Community Outreach and Sponsorship Director at Veritas Media
• Kristina Michelle, real estate agent and local activist
• Michelle Grandy, Outreach Coordinator of the local Smart Trips program
• Nicole Oliver, Director of Parks and Recreation for the City of Bellingham
• Rose Lathrop, Program Director of Sustainable Connections
• Seth Fleetwood, Mayor of Bellingham

Tune into the event at 6 p.m. and let’s have some fun learning about climate change together! You can watch the event on BTV live on the City’s website, on YouTube, or on your TV. BTV is available in High Definition (HD) on Comcast channel 321 and CenturyLink channel 1040, and in Standard Definition (SD) on Comcast channel 10 and CenturyLink channel 40.

This event is part of the City’s ALL IN for Climate Action Week. Learn more at www.cob.org/all-in.
