This Community Dialogue event will be held at the Fairhaven Branch of the Bellingham Public Library on the lower floor and will explore the question, “What is our role in creating a just and equitable census?”
A brief informational panel will be followed by small group discussion among all participants. The WWU Teaching-Learning Academy (TLA) Community Dialogues are a chance for WWU students, faculty, staff, and community members to come together and explore questions that are relevant to all of us.
A collaboration between the Center for Community Learning at Western Washington University, Western Libraries, and the Volunteer Center of Whatcom County, these events are open to everyone. Participation offers you a way to get involved, meet new people, and make connections outside of the typical academic setting, as well as a way to explore difficult topics, practice and refine productive communication strategies, and develop skills in interpersonal communication and collaboration.
