How is our changing climate impacting the Pacific Northwest? The Northwest’s economy, infrastructure, natural systems, public health, fishing industry and vitally important agriculture sector all face important climate change related risks. Dangers of these impacts demand assessment and action. What can we do?
Come to City Club to hear Dr. Richard Gammon expound on how to confront global climate change in the Pacific Northwest. Dr. Gammon is Professor (Emeritus) of Chemistry and Oceanography, and Adjunct Professor (Emeritus) of Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Washington. More about Dr. Gammon…
The program follows lunch shared with fellow community members at Northwood Hall, 3240 Northwest Ave, Bellingham. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 27. Tickets are available via Brown Paper Tickets and on our website at bellinghamcityclub.org.
