From debut author Jennifer Gold comes a delicious novel about the sweet and sour ingredients of life and love. After learning of her husband’s infidelity, Elle, an accomplished baker, bakes her way through her collection of favorite recipes to awaken old memories and revisit key moments in her life. Jennifer Gold believes love is sweet and life is messy, which is probably why she has a passion for writing about the relationships of career-focused women. When she’s not writing books, Gold spends time with her husband, horse, and two cats. Gold holds a master’s degree in writing and lives in Washington State.
Since 2012 Kate Kaufmann has advocated for better understanding of the childless/childfree demographic in classrooms, on panels, and before professional groups, among them AARP, the University of Dayton, and the Oregon Community Foundation. She has an MFA in creative writing from the Northwest Institute of Literary Arts and professional background in corporate staffing, training, and consulting. Her writing has appeared most recently on GirlTalk HQ, Conscious Connection, and the Washington Post. Kate lives in Portland, Oregon.
