Enjoy a well-deserved date night while your kids have a fun-filled evening through Kids Night Out @ Western (KNOW). Students in grades K-5 will explore hands-on, inquiry-based science and end the evening with a movie, guided tour of the aquarium or arts activities.
Children will explore the functions of digital cameras and use the camera to capture images of sea animals, land animals, people and landscapes, utilizing simple photography principles. Some discussion will center round the use and importance of photography for animal conservancy and the environment, and encouraged to share and discuss photos with their parents.
