The Amazing Recovery of the American Bald Eagle with David Hancock, President Of Hancock Wildlife Foundation
Biologist David Hancock will talk about how bald eagles were once endangered in the Northwest but are now thriving, and why this has occurred. He will discuss his latest project of banding and tracking these majestic birds, as well as the context of differences in numbers between the eagles in Canada and the US. Learn about the upcoming Fraser Valley Bald Eagle Festival at Harrison Mills, BC on Nov. 17 & 18, where the world’s largest gathering of bald eagles occurs annually.
