Event Details:

An annual sudden-death tournament of episodic plays, competing for theatrical glory and cash prizes! SERIAL KILLERS is an annual, five-weekend tournament of serial plays, with multiple teams competing for the audience’s mercy (and cash prizes).

Participating teams all perform a new episode of their five-part serial play each weekend, and the audience “votes off” teams each weekend until the Week Five finale, when a winner is crowned!

This year’s SERIAL KILLERS tournament continues the expanded double-bracket format introduced in 2019: shows will run in two brackets for the first three weeks: one group on Friday nights and one group on Saturday nights, with the surviving plays from each group merging into one group (playing Saturday nights only) for the final two weeks.

This years’s tournament runs January 31st to February 29th, and there are $3,000 in cash prizes up for grabs, including prizes for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place!

Performances happen every Friday and Saturday from January 31st through February 29th with Group one performing at 7:30 p.m. and Group 2 at 9:30 p.m. Visit sylviacenterforthearts.org to learn more!
