Event Details:

The Whatcom Museum’s Low Sensory Sundays are designed for children ages 12 and younger with autism spectrum and other sensory-processing disorders.

In place of an in-person Low Sensory Sunday, the Museum will offer a low-sensory Digital Kit via email, or a Material Kit (limited quantities available) for pick up at the Museum.

The Digital Kit consists of instructions for a FIG (Family Interactive Gallery) at Home activity dedicated to low sensory, one printable worksheet, a list of materials needed for the activity, and a recorded story time with interactive prompts about the selected book.

The Material Kit is available to the first 12 registrants and includes all the materials needed for the FIG at Home activity. If we receive more than 12 registrants for the program, the additional registrants will only receive a Digital Kit. All registrants will receive the Digital Kit.

Register by email by contacting Museum Educator Chelsea Macias, camacias@cob.org.
