Alternative Transportation

Hop on the Waterfront Trolley

Planning a visit to one of the many events happening around the Bellingham waterfront? Try taking the bus!

Also known as the Waterfront Trolley, the WTA (Whatcom Transportation Authority) bus Route 47 offers easy access from Downtown Bellingham to locations like The Portal Container Village, the Granary Building, and Zuanich Point Park.

Acid (Soccer) Ball at Waypoint Park

By day: a public art sculpture created from a retired piece of paper mill equipment that was once used to help break down timber into wood pulp. 

By night: a soccer ball!  

Illuminated with this special design just for the fan zone, visit Waypoint Park to find the acid ball transformed every night through the tournament from 9:30 p.m. - midnight. 

Family Fun with Allied Arts of Whatcom County

Keep the kids entertained while you watch the game! Allied Arts of Whatcom County has created coloring sheets that will be available at watch zone locations--crayons are provided, too.

You can also stop by their location in Downtown Bellingham for hands-on community art and craft stations throughout June and July:
