Boundary Bay Brewery and Cloud Mountain Farms Present Farm to Plate Partnership Aug 30 – Sept 3

Boundary Bay Brewery & Bistro and Cloud Mountain Farm Center are partnering to bring a farm-to-plate menu to Bellingham, showcasing a variety of locally grown ingredients. The farm-to-plate special will be available at Boundary Bay’s restaurant from Aug 30 to Sept 3, 2017. Boundary Bay will donate 20% of the sales from the specials to Cloud Mountain Farm Center.

Cloud Mountain Farm Center shares their delicious produce and a deeply rooted knowledge of food and farming, resulting in a common interest with Boundary Bay: Nourishing the community.  Cloud Mountain Farm Center’s programs are designed to help new and beginning farmers, established local farmers and home gardeners grow healthy food, successful crops and farm businesses.

For years, Boundary Bay and Cloud Mountain Farm Center have brought fresh fruits and vegetables into the restaurant and catering menus to offer the freshest ingredients and drive sustainability. Local ingredients are signified on their menus so customers can make informed decisions with their forks.

The Farm-to-Table special is an opportunity to spotlight two organizations working together to bring locally crafted food to their community with ingredients sourced from their community.

Boundary Bay & Cloud Mountain Plate Partnership Menu:

  • Caprese Salad -heirloom tomatoes, basil and fresh mozzarella with balsamic reduction
  • Buddha Bowl -ginger/garlic scented millet, roasted chick peas, grilled Walla Walla onions, cabbage, beets, cashew tahini dressing
  • Smoked Pork Chop -smoked pork chop with a peach and bourbon glaze

Boundary Bay values partnerships that make the community interconnected and special. Working with organizations like Cloud Mountain Farm Center reinforces the mission to keep the local food system healthy and thriving.
