Cloud Mountain Farm Center at 6906 Goodwin Rd., Everson, WA is now open for the 2019 growing season.
The Cloud Mountain Farm Center Nursery is recognized regionally for growing over 75% of the plants they sell and offering over 600 varieties of fruit plants, ornamentals, drought tolerant plants, and plants that draw beneficial pollinators. For fruit and food plants alone, Cloud Mountain has all of your favorites: from apples to grapes, and figs to raspberries. They also grow unique and noteworthy species including quince, Szechuan pepper, and yuzu citrus.
Cloud Mountain has done crop trials for over four decades, evaluating varieties and growing methods to find the plants that work best, here in Whatcom County and the Pacific Northwest. They also trial varieties for disease resistance that lend themselves to ease of cultivation. They’re known for their staff expertise, who have abundant knowledge on growing and production and can offer priceless info on the best plants to buy for your yard.

The nursery is an important part of Cloud Mountain, with all proceeds going to support their farmer internship program, community education workshops, and all the other work Cloud Mountain does to support local farmers and build a healthy food system. Through the end of June, the nursery will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sundays.
