The Mount Baker Theatre in Bellingham, announces a one-day-only musical retrospective of influential artists from Laurel Canyon on Sunday, May 12, 3:00 pm, with the act Live from Laurel Canyon: Songs & Stories of American Folk Rock. This ninety-minute musical retrospective celebrates some of the most influential artists who lived in Laurel Canyon between 1965 and 1975. Similar to other legendary rock and roll neighborhoods of the same eralike Haight Ashbury in San Francisco or Greenwich Village in NYCLaurel Canyon was a community of artists who would forge the new genre of folk rock.
