New Brewery, Twin Sisters Brewing Company, collaborates with three Bellingham Breweries

Twin Sisters Brewing Company announces their entrance to the Bellingham beer community with the release of three collaboration beers with local Bellingham breweries, Menace Brewing, Aslan Brewing Company, and Chuckanut Brewery.

The brewery plans to open in July 2018 in the Sunnyland Neighborhood in Bellingham and is committed to fostering the local craft beer community. Twin Sisters Brewing Company focuses on quality, yet approachable beer and educated, service minded staff. It will be the 15th brewery in Whatcom County.

“We couldn’t be more excited to be one of the first to work with Twin Sisters Brewing and continue the spirit of local collaboration. We all benefit from a stronger Bellingham Beer community,” said Jack Lamb, CEO of Aslan Brewing Company.

Twin Sisters Brewing Company and Chuckanut Brewery collaboration, Nutty Sisters, is an amber colored Northwest Special Bitter dry hopped with West Coast Hops for a toasty malt, and fruity hop flavor. Nutty Sisters is currently available at Chuckanut Brewery in Bellingham. Nutty Sisters comes in at 4.2% ABV and 30 IBU.

Twin Sisters Brewing Company and Menace Brewing collaboration is a Belgian-Style Tripel using the Trappist Westmalle yeast strain and Styrian Golding Hops. This Belgian-Style Tripel comes in at 8.7% ABV and 42 IBU and is currently available at Menace Brewing.

The Aslan Brewing Company collaboration, Bavarian Pils, is a German-Style Pilsner brewed with the yeast strain from German brewery Augustiner. It highlights a crisp hop finish with a clean malt profile. Bavarian Pils is hopped with Aurora and Tettnang hops and comes in at 5% ABV and 30 IBU. Bavarian Pils will be available March 30th at Aslan Brewing Company and at Elizabeth Station on April 6th.

“We were antsy to get open and begin brewing, so we asked some of our friends in the industry to brew with us and they welcomed us with open arms,” said Angela Loomis, Marketing Director at Twin Sisters Brewing Company. “We are excited to introduce these brews to the community and share more about our new brewery”.

Twin Sisters Brewing Company is unique to the Bellingham’s brew scene because aside from their refined brews, the company emphasizes a PNW inspired gathering place, with an indoor open-air restaurant, park-like beer garden and full production brewery. Unlike anything in the city, Bellingham Beer Garden at Twin Sisters Brewing Company also offers a full-service bar highlighting craft cocktails, pup friendly areas, and upstairs venue space perfect for meetings, holiday parties or family reunions.
