New Spring Menu at Semiahmoo’s Packers Oyster Bar

Semiahmoo Resort, Golf, and Spa, an iconic seaside resort on the pristine shores of Semiahmoo Bay and Drayton Harbor located just 90 minutes north of Seattle, is pleased to announce the new seasonal menu at Packers Oyster Bar.

“Each item on Packers’ new spring menu is a seasonal tribute to our hardworking local artisans and their farms, fisheries and other operations,” said Bruno Feldeisen, Executive Chef. “We cultivate direct relationships with our producers to ensure the finest ingredients are at our chef’s fingertips, and on our guests’ plates, every day.”

The menu’s seafood options include: chilled Pacific oysters on the half shell; Oysters Rockefeller served with spinach and herb crumbs; Semiahmoo seafood chowder; fried oysters and chips; wild shrimp and grits with citrus pepper broth; bacon and green onions; steamed Penn Cove mussels served with garlic butter and sourdough bread; crab mac ‘n’ cheese with white cheddar and parmesan-herb crust; blackened rockfish served with red cabbage-apple slaw and red watercress; and beer-battered Pacific cod served with tartar sauce and parmesan-herb fries.

Non-seafood dishes include – 16 oz. Angus bone-in NY steak served with onion rings and roasted potatoes; lamb burger with onion marmalade, yam fries and harissa mayonnaise; and grilled marinated tofu with warm quinoa, avocado and chimichurri. Pizzas fired in Packer’s wood stone oven include traditional choices like the Margherita with oven-roasted heirloom tomato, basil pesto and fresh mozzarella, and inventive options, including smoked duck with braised leek and apple; chorizo and prawn with tomato, arugula salad and extra-virgin olive oil.

An assortment of bar snacks will include – honey garlic chicken wings; crispy fried calamari with a buttermilk dipping sauce; nachos with cheese from Drayton Bar; and Cajun popcorn. The majority of bar snacks are available up to 50 percent off during Packers’ daily happy hour from 2 to 4 p.m.

Packers Oyster Bar features fresh, seasonally inspired cuisine with an emphasis on showcasing the local and regional bounty of the Pacific Northwest, open Sunday through Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. For more information about Packers Oyster Bar, menus, or to make a reservation, visit www.semiahmoo.com or call (360) 318-2090.
