Providence Hospitality Partners Promote Dana Weber to Hotel Bellingham’s General Manager

Hotel Bellingham, located just off Interstate 5 and near Bellingham International Airport and the adjacent Fox Hall conference center, was recently acquired by Today’s VI, LLC. The new owners previously had purchased the Four Points by Sheraton Bellingham Hotel & Conference Center in 2004.

Providence Hospitality Partners, of Denver, Col. recently promoted Dana Weber to General Manager of the 132-room Hotel Bellingham.

In addition to Hotel Bellingham, Providence Hospitality Partners began managing the Four Points Bellingham property in 2004.

“Providence Hospitality Partners is extremely pleased that, in keeping with our corporate culture of developing and promoting our performing associates, we will be promoting Dana Weber to the position of General Manager,” said David B. Storm, Providence Hospitality’s president. “Dana has been with Providence Hospitality in positions of increased responsibility for the past 12 years.”

Weber has been at Four Points Bellingham for 12 years, the last five years as assistant general manager. He has 17 years of experience in the hospitality industry and also is vice chair of Whatcom Young Professionals.

“I’m so excited to gain this opportunity in a community that I love,” Weber said. “I look forward to bringing this hotel to the next level and re-introducing it to Bellingham.”

Neither the purchase price nor membership of the new ownership group was disclosed.

Hotel Bellingham, located at 3985 Bennett Drive, just off I-5 Exit 258 (West Bakerview Road), operated under the Hampton Inn brand for many years. It’s tied with Four Points Bellingham for most hotel rooms in the city with 132. Fox Hall offers more than 3,700 square feet of meeting and event space with a 250-person capacity.

For reservations or more information, call Hotel Bellingham at (360) 676-7700 or visit www.hotelbellingham.com.
