Stone’s Throw Brewery Celebrates 1 Year Anniversary with Block Party, April 1

Stones Throw Brewery wants to celebrate its first birthday this April, and thank everyone who has been a part of the Stones Throw community. Everyone is invited to the free, family-friendly block party, which will begin at noon and end at 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 1, 2017.

The street will be shut down in front of the brewery for live music, food trucks, games, and an extended beer garden. Live music begins at 2 p.m. and goes until 8 p.m., and features The Honeymooners, The Bushwackers Band, and Stones Throw Friday night regulars, the High Mountain String Band. Fairhaven Pizza, Back East BBQ, and Simmering Tava will be serving food.

Flagship Stones Throw beers such as the Neighborhood IPA, Flat Penny Pale Ale, and Two Dollah Porter will all be on tap. Other beers on tap will be the collection of newer brews, including The Golden Rule IPA, the Raincountry Liquid Sunshine Lager, and the SMASH, as well as a Saison and the upcoming and ESB.

Block parties are a staple to the Stones Throw way of life, and the brewery will kick-off the upcoming block party season with the rain-or-shine birthday party. Two more block parties are planned for the spring: Friday, April 28, Stones Throw will host a Beer Week block party during the Bellingham-wide Beer Week celebrations, as well a block party on Saturday, May 27, during the Ski to Sea festivities. As always, all Stones Throw block parties are welcome to all ages.

Learn more about the celebrations at stonesthrowbrewco.com/block-party for more information throughout the block party season. Stones Throw Brewery is located in the Fairhaven District of Bellingham, at 1009 Larrabee Ave.
