The 16th Annual Bellingham Bay Bocce Tournament Benefits the Whatcom Dispute Resolution Center

The Whatcom Dispute Resolution Center (WDRC) and Boccemon in Bellingham invite the community and visitors to join the excitement of 32 teams, sponsored by businesses from around the state, battling for the championship in the biggest bocce tournament in the Pacific Northwest. The tournament will take place on April 21 from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Bellingham Sportsplex. Community members and visitors are encouraged to attend this free, family-friendly event which will include a Boundary Bay beer garden, a salmon BBQ and concessions from local vendors, raffle drawings for local prizes and Kids Zone that will have bouncy houses, face painting, and kids games The timeline of the event will go as follows:

9:30 a.m. - Doors open
10 a.m. - Round robin tournament
12 p.m. - Salmon BBQ lunch
1 p.m. - Single elimination tournament begins
3:30 p.m. - Championship match

Thanks to Boccemon, the tournament hose and title sponsor, all proceeds from this event will benefit the WDRC and their mission "to provide and promote constructive and collaborative approaches to conflict through mediation, training, facilitation and community education."
