It’s finally spring – and the Easter Bunny is on its way! Get out the baskets and get the kids ready for chocolate bunnies. Easter festivities happen throughout Bellingham and Whatcom County including Easter egg hunts, Easter Bunny photos and Easter Brunch. Here’s a full list to help safely coordinate your plans.

B-Town Kitchen & Raw Bar’s Easter Taps

B-Town has taken their share plate concept and given it a new Easter twist! On Sunday, April 4 from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. enjoy Taps Easter Brunch which includes eggs benny, chicken and waffles, Belgian waffles, biscuits and gravy, and a variety of beverages including mimosas.

Bellewood Farms & Distillery

Bellewood Farms is the largest apple orchard in Western Washington and a great way to get some fresh spring air.

Stop by Saturday, April 3 and Sunday, April 4 for lunch and cider donuts at Bellewood’s Ten Mile Cafe, take a photo with the Easter bunny and take a tractor train ride out to the orchard. The distillery will also be open for farm-made cocktails and spirits!

Easter Brunch at Boundary Bay Brewery

Sunday, April 4th Boundary Bay Brewery will be offering an Easter Brunch from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. for dine-In only!

This year’s Easter Brunch includes delicious dishes like Eggs Bennett (Eggs Benedict with Grilled, Wild Sockeye Salmon), Vegetarian Quiche, Raspberry Mascarpone French Toast, Smoked Ham, fruit, croissants and classic brunch cocktails like mimosas! Each table will receive complimentary, house-made hot cross buns while supplies last, and the first 100 tables will also have an Easter basket and treats awaiting them at their table!

Bellingham Veg Fest Presents Wooden Eggs

Wooden eggs are a festive and fun alternative to chicken eggs. You and your family can use them year after year; paint over them if you want or keep adding newly painted ones to your collection as your children grow. And they are low waste!

Shop Local: Art and Happiness, a local store that provides quality art supplies to the Whatcom County community, is working with The Prancing Hound to sell their custom-made flat, decorative wooden eggs for kids to decorate at home. Elli, the owner of Art and Happiness, will also be hosting in-store egg decorating sessions!

Stop by March 30 through April 3 to decorate your own egg at Art and Happiness. Paint each egg for $3, or 2 for $5. Wooden eggs are also sold separately for those who would like to take them home to decorate instead.
