Explore Local Agriculture with Bike Northwest’s Summer & Fall Bike Tours

Bike Northwest is excited to announce a series of 9 immersive bike tours across 5 beautiful locations, featuring dozens of agriculturalists and local experts. Our tours will take you through Lummi Island, Everson, Ferndale, Skagit Valley, and Bellingham’s waterfront community.

From workshops on sustainable reef netting led by Lummi tribe members to farm-to-table dinners set in picturesque fields, our tours offer meaningful educational opportunities and moments to savor the richness of our local agricultural landscape.

We designed our tours to connect you with the people and systems dedicated to stewarding our land's resources. Whether you're a local food enthusiast, a sustainability advocate, or simply love riding your bike in Whatcom and Skagit County, our tours offer something for everyone.

About Bike Northwest: Bike Northwest is a nonprofit program of Experience International, dedicated to promoting local food systems, supporting community education, and celebrating bike travel. Through our events and programs, we aim to foster a deeper connection between people and the resources that sustain our communities.

Join Us: Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to explore, learn, and enjoy the bounty of local agriculture. To learn more about our tours and to book your spot, visit bikenorthwest.expint.org.

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
