Bellingham and Whatcom County have a ton of restaurants where you can eat affordably. You may not be able to order steak or salmon, but these options for an affordable breakfast, lunch, and dinner in Bellingham don't lack in quality or flavor.

Enjoy sandwiches, burgers, pizza, and more all for under $10 (or close).

Cheba Hut Toasted Subs

Cheba Hut is a "Toasted" sub concept that has been curing munchies since its start in 1998. Founder Scott Jennings decided to showcase the harmony between great tasting food and... well, a very specific counter-culture.

The menu features over 30 signature sub sandwiches, as well as a variety of Rice Krispy treats, salads and munchies, and a full bar with cocktails and featured local beers from neighborhood breweries.

For late night cravings, it's open till 1:00am on Friday and Saturday nights!

Take a Subdued Stroll

Although many visitors seek adrenaline in Bellingham, our area is also lucky to have numerous quiet nature trails leading to waterfalls, through old-growth forests, and along peaceful lakes and bays.

If you're feeling happy and want to enjoy some beautiful Pacific Northwest scenery, head to one of these walking trails for a scenic stroll.

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
