This exhibition celebrates the rich history and diverse forms of maps and map-inspired artworks while exploring their enduring significance in shaping our understanding of the world. At the core of “Charting the World” is a selection of rare, old maps, featuring unique masterpieces that illustrate the history of cartography and the artistic beauty of hand-drawn maps.
Map-inspired paintings, drawings, and digitally created maps by local artists Chuck Kitterman, Hannah Rivers, and David Syre complete the exhibition, providing an overview of the extensive realm of cartography.
