Beginning Sculpture and Hand Building Ceramics Class

Students will learn the basics of handbuilding while also learning about the formal elements of sculptural art. Students can expect to create 1-3 fully complete pieces within the 7 week class. 

Slab making, coil building, pinch pots, paddling, additive and subtractive techniques will be taught. There will also be a short lesson on surface design as it pertains to sculpture building.
