How to Successfully Grow Dahlias and Sweet Peas

We are excited to welcome the exceptional local flower grower and author, Marryn Mathis, to share with us about growing sweet peas and dahlias. Known, for her dahlia and sweet peas fields, along with being a cut flower educator and creator of the unique sweet pea school. Marryn specializes in seed production, growing retail cut flowers, dahlia hybridization, and educational workshops. 

She founded the Farmhouse Flower Farm, specializing in dahlia tubers, flower seeds, sweet pea seeds, anemones, and ranunculus corms. Her new book, Sweet Pea School: Growing and Arranging the Garden’s Most Romantic Blooms, will be available at our lecture.
