Maggie Murphy's "Brew Skies" Art Opening

"Brew Skies", an art opening by local artist Maggie Murphy, captures the rich spirit of Bellingham's brewery culture through the dreamy, expansive skies we all know and love, rendered in linocut and reduction printing.

With a bold mix of color, wit, and wonder, Maggie's work blurs the line between a golden-hour beer buzz and the infinite stretch of a Pacific Northwest sunset. Each piece is a toast to moments both fleeting and unforgettable — and an invitation to the Sunnyland neighborhood to lose yourself in the art of savoring while surrounded by the best breweries in Bellingham. An art event not to be missed. Come and sip, swirl, and soar with us.

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
