Veronica Parkin: In Bloom, Artist Opening at Martini Mercantile

Artist Opening: Thursday, June 5, 5–8 PM (On view through June)

Just in time for a proper Bellingham June, Martini Mercantile will host local artist Veronica Parkin and her unapologetically bold florals. Her show In Bloom is a nod to spring’s late arrivals and features vibrant acrylics and playful linocut prints that give flowers the sass and presence they deserve. Expect a whole lot of color therapy on canvas.

Attend the artist opening on June 5 to meet Veronica, sip something sparkly, and maybe even snag a flower that won’t wilt in a week. Perfect for your gallery wall, kitchen nook, or any space that could use a little more personality.

Martini Mercantile: Sunnyland’s best-kept secret for art, goods, and a mighty fine vibe.

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
