Pride Paddle Parade!

Paddle with Pride on Bellingham Bay!

Join us in celebration of pride month for a Parade style paddle! We will provide sit on top kayaks, sea kayaks, rowboats, the Mega SUPs and paddle boards to use. The first hour will be dedicated to decorating boats, face painting, and making signs to bring all the spirit and color to the bay. Costume, decor, and sign supplies encouraged, we can’t wait to see all your decorated boats and selves! We will launch together, parade style from the CBC, and head north along the Boulevard Park boardwalk.

Event Timeline: 11:00am | check in at the CBC

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
