Bellingham Holi Festival

Inspired by the Indian festival of Holi, this all-ages event welcomes everyone to come play, throw vibrant colors, and meet neighbors they might not otherwise cross paths with.

Backed by a Project Neighborly grant from the Whatcom Community Foundation, and sponsored by Paper Whale and India Mart, the festival brings a global tradition to Bellingham in a way that’s local, inclusive, and deeply joyful.

There will be color throws, live dhol drummers, and food. Wear a white shirt and come ready to get messy and have fun!

Starts: June 28, 2025

Time: 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Admission: Free!

Location: Boulevard Park
470 Bayview Dr., Bellingham , WA 98225

We acknowledge that Whatcom County is located on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples. They cared for the lands that included what we’d call the Puget Sound region, Vancouver Island and British Columbia since time immemorial. This gives us the great obligation and opportunity to learn how to care for our surrounding areas and all the natural and human resources we require to live. We express our deepest respect and gratitude for our indigenous neighbors, the Lummi Nation and Nooksack Tribe, for their enduring care and protection of our shared lands and waterways.
